UAE Definitive Stamps

This is one of the set of definitive stamps with a stylized design that features the word 'Emirates' in Arabic calligraphy in the shape of a falcon.
They are available in all post offices. Customers have the choice of using the old or the new definitive stamps.Definitive stamps are everyday stamps sold at all post offices for all types of postage. They are different from commemorative stamps which are issued to mark certain events or occasions. The stamps, issued in denominations of Dh. 1, Fils 150, Dhs. 2, Dhs. 3, Fils 350, Dhs. 4 and Dhs. 5
"These new definitive stamps have used the beauty of Arabic calligraphy to create a stunning graphic, with the artistic letters cleverly forming the shape of a falcon, the ultimate symbol of Emirati culture" said the Director General of Emirates Postyou can see this stamp in some of the letters posted ealier , or might come across some who were posted after. .
